My Story

Greetings, and I’m so happy you’re here! My name is Katie Doyle, and I’m a birth doula, childbirth educator, and mama based in Schuylerville, NY.

While my interest in birth was sparked over a decade ago when I was a volunteer in the maternity unit of a local hospital, it was kindled once again through my own experiences of pregnancy, birth, as well as pregnancy loss.

Those transformative times – and the support I received through childbirth education, doula support, and a wonderful community of wise women around me – inspired me to continue and deepen my journey into birth work.

I believe every family deserves compassionate support, access to evidence-based information, and the ability to make decisions that facilitate a safe and empowering birth experience. In my practice, I aim to provide heart-centered support that combines evidence-based information with an invitation for each birthing person to tune into the deep wisdom that exists within themselves.

I am a certified labor doula through ProDoula, a certified childbirth educator through Birthing From Within, and am also a certified Body Ready Method educator, which focuses on physical preparation for birth through intentional, functional movement.

I support both home and hospital births in the Capital Region. Outside of birth work, I’m an avid gardener and also an artist, specializing in ultrasound and embryo painting commissions.
